There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 9:00 am, Thursday May 2nd, 2024, at the office of the Lawrence County Land Reutilization, located at 327 Vernon Street Ironton, Ohio 45638.

Bidding documents may be obtained Monday through Friday, beginning April 5th, 2024, between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm at the office of the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation, 327 Vernon Street Ironton, Ohio 45638. Documents may be forwarded to all bidders who have pre-qualified with the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation upon written request. To obtain a list of pre-qualified contractors, please contact the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation or visit website: www.lawrencecountylandbank.com

All bids must be received at the office of the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation by 12:00, noon on May 10th, 2024. Bids will be reviewed by the staff of the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation after 12:00 pm (noon) on May 10th, 2024, and will reviewed for potential decision by the Board of the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation in the Land Bank’s standard board meeting date  May 21st, 2024. The Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation Board Meeting is held on the 3rd Floor Conference Room, in the Ironton Courthouse, located at 111 S. 4th Street Ironton, OH 45638.

The General Terms and Conditions, Specifications, Special Provisions, Bid, Affidavit, Contract and Performance Bond are on file and available to any interested person in the aforesaid office. These documents will be forwarded, upon request and without charge, to any prospective Bidder.

Each Bid Proposal must adhere to the format outlined by the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation and must comply with the terms and conditions of the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation set forth in the “Contract Documents.”

If a Combination Bid Guaranty/Performance Bond be submitted by a Bidder, such bond must be on a form approved by the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation. Approved bond forms can be obtained from the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation. The certified check, cashier’s check, letter of credit or Bid Guaranty Bond, will be held by the Commission as a guaranty that, if any Bid is accepted, the Contract Documents be executed, and the performance of the Bid secured. Each such check, letter of credit or Bid Guaranty Bond, or the proceeds thereof, will be returned or retained as provided in the General Terms and Conditions.

If a Bidder shall refuse to enter into a contract, the amount of the Bid guaranty shall be retained or paid to the Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation.

The award of the Contract or Contracts, if any award be made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder therefor whose Bid complies with all the prescribed requirements. The Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities.
